Maternity Photoshoot – $650

The maternity photoshoot is taken when you are between 32 – 36 weeks and includes photos with your partner and any other children you may have.  I also have a collection of dresses that you are welcome to use for your photoshoot.

 

The Maternity Photoshoot Package includes:

  • 1 hr photoshoot
  • All high resolution digital files from your gallery (approx 30-40 images)

A $150 deposit needs to be paid by bank transfer to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining $500 needs to be paid on the day of your photoshoot.

 

MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGE UPGRADES:

  • 6″ x 8″ hard cover printed photo album – $200 extra 
  • 8″ x 11″ hard cover printed photo album – $300 extra 

 

DELUXE PACKAGE – $400 extra

  • 8″ x 11″ hard cover printed photo album
  • One  16″ x 20″ framed print

  • Two 8x10in prints (one from each photoshoot)
  • All high resolution digital files from your galleries (approx 30-40images per photoshoot)

* Add pregnancy timeline for an extra $400 ($2300 altogether)

 

BUMP TO FIRST YEAR PACKAGE – $2500 (SAVE $400)

3  photoshoots:

  • Maternity (1hr photoshoot)
  • Newborn (2-4 hr photoshoot)
  • 12 month/cake smash (1 hr photoshoot)
  • Montage print of your choice with images from any/all of your 3 photoshoots
  • All high resolution digital files from your galleries (approx 30-40 images per photoshoot)

BUMP TO BABY PACKAGE – $3000 (SAVE $950)

4  photoshoots:

  • Pregnancy (1 hr photoshoot)
  • Newborn (2-4 hr photoshoot)
  • 6 month (1 hr photoshoot)
  • 12 month/cake smash (1 hr photoshoot)
  • Montage print of your choice with images from any/all of your 4 photoshoots
  • All high resolution digital files from your galleries (approx 30-40images per photoshoot)

At Kate Lee Photography, we’re dedicated to bringing your vision for a maternity photoshoot to life. If you prefer an outdoor setting, we’ll work diligently to ensure we capture exactly what you envision.

We often hold outdoor sessions in the picturesque Carlton Gardens or Fitzroy Gardens, based on your preference. Each photoshoot typically lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours.

A maternity photoshoot is a unique opportunity, so it’s important to get every detail right, including your outfit choices. To ensure you end up with photos you love and have multiple options to showcase at home, we recommend bringing two to three outfits for your session. Consider packing a mix of casual and formal attire—such as dresses, skirts, and even cozy sweaters if you’re going for a warm, intimate theme.

If you’re unsure about what to wear, don’t worry. You can select two outfits from our collection to help bring your maternity photoshoot vision to life. Our selection includes fitted maternity gowns, lace robes, silk fabrics, traditional Chinese costumes, and more!

No, 37 weeks is not too late for a maternity photoshoot. Although the ideal time is between 30 and 34 weeks, you can still have your photos taken at 37 weeks. Since you’ll be at full term, you might experience some discomfort with certain poses. We’ll tailor the session to suit your needs and ensure it's as comfortable as possible. Please let us know any specific needs or limitations beforehand or during the shoot, so we can make the experience enjoyable for you.

Whether or not to wear jewelry for your maternity photoshoot is entirely up to you. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and true to yourself during the session. Jewelry can enhance your outfit and add an extra touch of elegance to your photos, but it's best to keep it understated to ensure it doesn’t overshadow your baby bump.

If you choose to wear jewelry, we recommend opting for simple, delicate pieces in gold or silver, as these will complement your natural glow. It’s best to avoid bold statement pieces like chunky necklaces, which can be saved for after the shoot.

While the main focus of a maternity photoshoot is on the mother and her beautiful baby bump, it’s also important for dad to look his best. He should wear colors that complement, but don’t exactly match, the mother’s outfit—consider coordinating hues and color palettes.

For bottoms, jeans, chinos, or other dark options are ideal for maternity photos. It’s best to avoid shorts unless the shoot is very casual. Crisp white shirts are a classic choice, and you can’t go wrong with them. T-shirts and crewnecks are also good for more casual or outdoor shoots, but be sure to choose neutral colors and simple designs. Avoid busy patterns, as they can distract from the mother. Ultimately, wear what you feel most comfortable in, and you’ll look great!
